A Passing Thought


How can man lay claim greatness?
When he is no more than
just a passing thought in the mind of god
A thought that envies
A thought that covets
A thought that loves and
Cherishes some thoughts and hates others
A thought that gives birth to other thoughts
A thought that murders other thoughts
A thought that thinks - envisions
A thought that imagines god enters its domain
When it trespasses in His
A thought that seeks to be god
O how god’s head must ache
