    Rest In peace Sir !!!

Your contributions to the industry in terms of films and talents have/will stood/stand over time.

If at all there would be a regret it is that you are not around to watch how your 'Shisya' has scaled up directing you and shaping "Uthama Villan"

Hope Kamal makes it a memorable last film for you.
Success is how high you bounce when you hit bottom.

    Huge loss to cinema industry

During the time when directors were running behind big actors like MGR and Sivaji. He discovered many many legends and proved that it is content that is hero.
His contributions to cine and TV industry will stay with us for generations

RIP KB Sir. Filled with deep sadness - thinking about all your unforgettable creations.

Iyakkunar Sigaram K. Balachander was not only a game changer Director but also someone who introduced a host of other talents to entertain us.

If you had to put all of Tamil Cinema's best movies into a hard drive, how much space will it take - 1 KB
Never argue with a fool or he will drag you down to his level and beat you at it through sheer experience!

    fantastic... best tribute..

KB - May you transcend the path to the heavenly abode. Or; if you are reborn; may you be reborn in this Tamil land to take up the work of Kavignar Bharathiyaar through the cinema...

Wish Kamal Haasan attended the funeral but unfortunate circumstances that he was abroad couldn't get a flight back.

One notable absentee was Ajith though...should have made it....don't know what kept him away and this is on each and everyone's lip.....

true...but not many know that it was on MGR's insistence, compulsions, forcing that KB entered the silver screen otherwise he was more interested in stage plays...also KB's introduction to the cinema world was through MGR's movie Deiva Thaai as a story and dialogue writer...
