Kalyana Parisu remains the prestigious celluloid saga on Love triangle by Sreedhar bringing out the latent talents of Gemini Ganesan who was carving out a niche for his originality in depicting on screen love with an incomparable flamboyance incorporating the elements of fineness and dignity to the hearty satisfaction of viewers. Sarojadevi appears so fresh like a rose with dew and depicted her character neatly alongside Vijayakumari known for such tearjerking roles. To break the monotony of this lengthy movie Sreedhar intermingled the storyline with another feather on his cape, the evergreen comedy sequence even today, with the most decent comedian Thangavelu with his pair Saroja! A.M. Raja's scintillating tunes and his perfect voice synchronization to GG .... marvelous and lingers in memory. The Climax scene of GG walking in a dejected mood of relinquishing all the earthly pleasures, leaving his son with Nageswara Rao - Sarojadevi...was a fantastic silhouette mode of depiction comparable for GG's subtle and effective portrayal with Gregory Peck's impeccable walk in the climax of the Roman Holiday with the memories of Audrey Hepburn as the princess of his heart!!
