The competition round between alka and roshan was really super. The judges comments were original. It was a treat. Thanks Nerd for the link.
This week it is play back singers' debut song.
Again Alka and Roshan were spot selected for Lesa lesa and Pon maane kobam eno. (Debut song of Madhumita and Unni Menon)
Alka sang beautifully. Roshan was also too good in Pon maane. Unni menon's blessing kiss to Roshan was so genuine.
bringing the original singers to the stage was a good concept from the channel's side.

Spoke to Roshan on his diction which he should improve. It was funny to know that he pronounces differently because the lyrics which he downloads from the internet is spelt like that. He has no guidance on good tamil.
He learnt Pon maane kobam eno in just one day, as he had first committed to sing KJJ's debut song but that was not a song for any competition. (Neeyum bommai naanum bommai)

The boy who sang "ennavale adi ennavale" should have been spot selected.

Thanks Aana.
Yes, Roshan, your namesake is special! Hope everything falls in place in his life
Vikki,
Yeah, saw that today, again not an easy song IMO, and he did a great job. Unni was touched
[By the way, the best part of the song for me is the Pallavi, both the tune and backing instrumentaion. A see-saw waltzy feel to Kedharam. Fantastic choice ]
This guy Ananth seems to be making quite a difference

The person who sang "Unakkena Naan" (that flick with Nakulan baai), Ramya is NSK's pEthi
Andha total-aping-of-'pop'-with-yeppam-vocals in Tamil cinema allergy irundhaalum, romba nalla paadnaanga (she also sang another English number)
