even now Im watching a movie on KTV -Kadhaludan...directed by some vikraman wannabe it seems

He proves to be really a good follower of vikraman..

Murali gets ready to bath with towel etc..

devyani gives him the soap and explains what it is and whats the use of it

    "indhanga soap...kuLikka"

    just like suriya vamsam...

devyani as colelcter and sarath - oor periya manusa mammanaru...

devyani drops a kerchief r something and touches saraths foot and gets blessings with the usual gesture...everything well told on screen

But vikraman still has a doubt on the viewers intelligence...ivingaluku idhu puriyama pochunna
    outside the office...saraths assistant tells
andha ponnu keela vilundha porula edukura maadhiri unga kaalla vilundhu aasirvaadhatha naan paathututhanga irundhen

Please continue here.... I would be indebted to contributors

No one can write dialogues like Vikraman.

    Sample this (not exact words),

Chithara to Murali: Tharaila oru paper kidandha, naama adhai saadharanama paappom. Adhaiye oru nool-la katti parakka vitta, adhai pattam-nu annaandhu paappom.

Idhu paravaillai. Oru Devar Films padam. Elephant performs pooja for Amman. The usual rigmarole of animal performing human duties, right? Well, thats not enough for Thevar Films Kadhai ilaaka. They want to make sure that the audience doesnt miss the fact that here's an elephant performing pooja for amman. So, they have a passerby saying "Adho paaryyya. Yaanai ammanukku poojai pannudhu".
I believe Devar specifically instructed the vasana illaka to add this vasanam - and he was supposed to have made that decision based on the pulse of the audience that he was supposedly an expert in. Namma makkal mela avlo nambikkai vechurkukkanga film makers!

Am not an expert on Vikraman, CR. Romba paarthadillai - whole of 90's I wasnt in touch with tamil movie scene much - I realise in retrospect that that was a blessing in disguise
