violence as a path was chosen by the tigers and other movements after the prolonged violence by the sinhalese fanatics and government for more than 30 years. 'Intellectuals' in mount road sitting in AC room reading 'che' can have theories and notions of 'Indian sovereignity' and soft corner for central government for they derive so much of support from the governments. The people dying in the forefront or getting slapped and kicked dont have much choice but to fight back at the oppressing hand that crushes them. If these intellectuals can't contribute to the cause thats fine - but ridiculing and actively lobbying for a foreign government that has done unspeakable atrocities is stretching it too far.
Apparently, a democracy is a place where numerous elections are held at great cost without issues and with interchangeable candidates.

So she accepts the methods used by Srilankan barbarian Govt and Vanjaga Indian Govt.
Moreover ,Even before the formation of LTTE ,Singalese racists Govts started the ethinic cleansing well before ..After almost 25 years of democratic and so-called ahimsa methods of protest ,which was replied with brutelity and genocide ,Tamils had come to the level of taking arms to protect them ..Not they took the offence from the begining.

Offcourse 40 MP seatnna summaava?
If you ask pranab mukerjee - he too will say that tamils are good people - they are great ppl- they vote one side enmasse and send 40 laddus to delhi - only to be betrayed.
I was wow at Ameer's take on karai padiyadha veshti politicians.
There is a viewpoint that both sides are wrong (LTTE and SL govt.). My question is who is right in this world? If wars were to be fought and world had to intervene only in a 'just' war, then there is no such war worth intervening. human shields or not, there are millions trapped and starving, the only way SL govt can earn trust of people who are right now with tigers is by stopping the war. Some one has to hammer into the heads of Indian and SL govts that there is no such option as 'finish off LTTE' or 'ask LTTE to laydown arms, for the SL govt is much more well armed and they should be the ones to lower their arms down as they are in the point of military superiority right now. This is the last chance - LTTE's strength is not the combat gears or latest radars - it is the hate for SL govt in the minds of thamizhs that is the fodder for LTTE to thrive. So if SL govt wants to defeat LTTE, let them introspect and lay down the guns aimed on civilians, by a noble gesture you can win the hearts of thamizhs all over - instead of coaxing, threatening the SL govt to do that Indian govt is asking tigers in the middle of a jungle, cut off from communications to trust this govt fuelled only by hatred filled rhetoric towards thamizhs. This is an impossible task and sometimes humanity should take precedence over tactics and cold blooded strategy. All said and done, they too are people from our culture and who once breathed the same air of this country - how can you hearlessly disown them? IF this is India, then I am ashamed to be an indian in every possible way.

The reason for this situation is congress has a hold in TN assembly and that made M.K soften his approach
The only solution would be wiping out congress from the state so that dravidian parties can act without having to appease the national parties interests - not just eazham issue.
Any national party in state should reflect the sentiments of the regional people to its head. But the congress party does reflect the sentiments of its party leaders to the TN people.

Ameer was good too.
He said that 'we have no hidden agendas. I have stopped my own production for the past 6 months and have been on the streets for this'. That was amazing, considering how he struggled to get PV released and run.
Catch Bharatihraaja's speech too. That one was also great.
