this is my post in tamilnadu politics community..just reposting..

1.Is India a separate entity?..Its run by the govt that depends upon the 40 TN MPs right?

2.If we tamils are really concerned abt srilankan issue,why dont we defeat congress here

3.Do u expect the karnataka and bihar govt to withdraw their support for eazham cause.

4.How many tamil newpapers/other media support eazham cause?

India is not the reason - But the tamilians..the tamil govt which forms the integral part of the Indian govt.

Indians in general too are to blame in this, though the thamizh politicians and 'intellectuals' are the chief contributors. Even if peaceful solution is the only solution our thamizh leaders simply shut down themselves from Eezham, they had as 'thaamarai' said 'Thamizhana indiana? Irayaanmai fear which prevented them from rushing and joining the norway brokered peace process. when the peace deal broke, Indian govt could have atleast stepped in and offered the 'Resurrected Indian accord of 1987' once again. Instead, they armed Srilankan army along with China and Pakis. This is an unpardonable act of treachery. If there is a peace process is in peril, either step in and reconnect the two parties or dont interfere - but what our govt did was to actively arm one side and squeeze the other party, you dont get 'peace' because of that, you get only pyrrhic victory - which is what the situation is headed to. In the end it is going to be another group of millions fleeing to all other countries and this time no one is willing to come to India as refugee (from what I heard from a friend).
