Almost all the answers are same as what I got, but some of these don't match. As a result we are getting some weird combinations:

GP, your dimensions of the farm is correct. That is where I stammered a bit,

for that.

But there are some assumptions which I dont find in the original questions, some of them are even contradicting too..

since the current year is 1939,

son of farmer Dunk, who will be in 1945 twice as old as his sister Mary => current year is 1944???

13 Down ("the number of years that Dog's Mead is owned by the Dunk family") can now only be 829

Pls explain
