    Tips to develop thamizh

Instead of talking of big things like thani thamizh naadu, etc on improvising thamizh, we can very well do that with our nearby surrounding. Expecting tips to improvise thamizh inside our family and nearby surrondings. Veetla yaerpadura maatram naatula kooda oru naal yaerpadalaam

In our everyday conversation, when talking in Tamil try to use only Tamil words. You don't have to go out of the way to translate tough English words into Tamil. But avoid using English words when commonly used Tamil words exist.

    ten o clock meet paNNuvOmA

    paththu maNikku sandhippOmA

In the above two "sandhippOmA" is odd to say. We can easily write it, but since it is a word that we no longer use in spoken Tamil. IMO it can be spoken and brought back into usage, but that is at a later stage. Now atleast we can say

    paththu maNikku paarppOm. sariyA ?
paththu maNikku anga vandhidarEn. neengaLum vandhudareengaLA ?

Longer, imprecise translations. But atleast we would have spoken in Tamil without necessarily resorting to the seemingly bombastic nature of ezhuththu thamizh.

    PR,

The word 'sandhipOmA' is still widely used in the southern districts. It is a very common word atleast in Thirunelveli, Thoothukudi and Kanyakumari districts.
