அருமையானதொரு இணையதளம். அற்புதமான, காணக்கிடைக்காத வரவேற்பு பதாதைகள், போஸ்ட்டர்கள் என விழாவே களை கட்டியிருந்திருக்கிறது. மதுரை மக்களுக்கு மட்டுமே கிட்டிய அவையனைத்தையும் எல்லோர் கண்களுக்கும் காணக்கிடைக்கச்செய்தமைக்கும், அன்றைய விழாவோடு போயிருக்க வேண்டிய அவையனைத்தையும், இணையதளம் மூலம் நிரந்தரமாக்கியதற்கும் நன்றிகள் பல.

பேனர்கள், போஸ்ட்டர்கள் என மதுரையே குலுங்கியிருப்பது தெரிகிறது. விழாவைப்பாராட்டி 'மதச்சார்பற்ற ஜனதாதளம்' சார்பிலும்கூட போஸ்ட்டர் ஒட்டப்பட்டிருப்பதும், கமல் அவர்களை வரவேற்று சிவாஜி மன்றம் சார்பில் பேனர் வைக்கப்பட்டிருப்பதும், அண்ணனும் அண்ணியும் இணைந்திருக்கும் பேனர்கள் இடம்பெற்றிருப்பதும் குறிப்பிடத்தக்கவை. (புகைப்படத்தொகுப்பைப் பார்த்து மயங்கிய நான், சில புகைப்படங்களுக்கு என்னுடைய கமெண்ட்களையும் பதிய வைத்துள்ளேன்).

Dear friends,
First let us all give standing ovation to PAMMALAR for shifting Madurai to forumhub. He has covered almost every aspect of the gala evening. It was a most memorable trip to Madurai bringing nostalgia of old days of Sivaji Mandra Manadu. The festive look Madurai wore these days cant be repeated even for Diwali. We were all extremely delighted to see Madurai donning NT's avatars all over - graffitis, posters, banners and what not. We arrived on 2nd Oct morning for a very warm welcome in the form of these decorations. It was heart filled with joy. Immediately we jumbed in the bandwagon and prepared for the exhibition. It was a laudable effort by S.Vijayan for exposing those rare images and the pains he took to prepare them. It came out very well and it took us whole day to finalise the preparation. The exhibition was inaugurated at 11.00 a.m. by the Collector of Madurai, Commissioner of Police, Madurai and Deputy Mayor of Madurai, Shri Ramkumar, Shri V.N. Chidambaram and Shri Thyagarajan of Satyajothi films. All of them were full praise on the exhibition and there was good crowd even on 3rd Oct. On the evening of 3rd Oct., Mr. Sasikumar of Subramaniapuram fame, visited the hall and spent almost 75 minutes and browsed the images thoroughly and we explained him on some of the images.
The next day it was gaiety all over. Even before we reached the venue of exhibition at about 9.30 a.m. there was considerable crowd waiting for about 15 to 20 minutes and from then on it was amazing crowd. From about 10.00 a.m. the crowd started pouring and actually we thought of closing it at 3.00 p.m but were unable to do so on seeing the enthusiam of fans and upto around 5.15 pm we were unable to close. Our estimate was about 7 to 8 thousand people visited the exhibition.
Kalaignar TV spent almost 3 hours at the exhibition and covered. Mr. Vijayan, the audience, and a fewof those who helped us in arranging the exhibits, and myself spoke our mind in Kalaignar TV. And when we at last went to stage it was almost 5.35 p.m. and the function was about to start and we had no place to sit. At last some how I found a spot on the floor on the road and settled. And the real crowd could be seen after the events were over. (I was told that the approximate visitors to the event alone was 1.25 lakhs, which fact has been conveniently ignored by the GENEROUS MEDIA in Tamil Nadu).
WE LEFT MADURAI WITH HEAVY HEARTS ON 5TH .... HESITANTLY ...
