Recently when watching on DVD I was even more impressed

Ashwini? She was pretty good in uthiri pookkaL and naNdu. Can't recollect other movies.

She was in 'Oru Kai Osai' with Bhagyaraj. All her performances seemed very similar to me.

I intentionally avoided Sridevi. enakkennavO she was more towards glamour and bubbly stuff than performance.

With successful stars like Sridevi - the glitz tends to hide their good performances.

Konjam disappointing thaan.. but that's fine. Can you believe that 'poovellAm un vaasam' was her debut? enna oru performance that too in some comedy scenes. Antha Jewellery shop scene onnu pOthum. Ambiga, Vadivukkarasi pOnRa seniours'a thookki sAptu iruppAnga. She has many good performances to her credit starting from PUV to Mozhi. IMO, she was the main reason for CM's phenomenal success. I never get bored with Jo.
