The remix is not bad, i agree, but it's not great.
I just don't like the whole commercial aspect of it, they've just taken AR's composition and re packaged it to make money.
Have you seen how much product placement there is in the video.
Also, I agree with Maddy in terms of AR revolutionising Hollywood, but breaking the backbone of symphonic type scores had been done by many including Hans Zimmer, who has brought in music from around the world with a modern feel. AR will do something even more different hopefully.

Also the Pussy Cat Dolls are more popular among 10 to 12 year olds than teenagers.

Yeah I've seen a few 10 year old girls singing along to their first hit "Dontcha wish your girlfriend was hot like me?"

I have not listened to Hans Zimmer much except Gladiator.. Can someone recommend his good scores?
I heard he is a very good friend of ARR and I also saw IR mentioning his name in ARR's felicitation ceremony.

Black Hawk Down

These are all worth buying.

yeah, and even though it has a lot of orchestration, there are electronic influences that you would need to look for to notice.

Blood Diamond music is by James Newton Howard.
