Hard rock electric guitar riffs and solos in TFM...

I've been away from this forum for a loooooooooong time, so if this has already been discussed elsewhere, please merge this with the relevant discussion(s).

So... can we try to build a list of electric guitar solos (preferably hard rock-style, but stuff from any genre welcome) in TFM?

I know of a number of acoustic guitar solos in Ilayaraja's work (but these weren't exactly "rock"), but can anyone list electric guitar solos here (by any TFM composer)? I mean any stuff that can be used as a practice exercise for an aspiring guitarist? Or even if it is not beginner level, never mind, please post it here...

I mean are there any solos to the same level as "Sweet Child O' Mine" (by Saul "Slash" Hudson) or "The Unforgiven" (Kirk Hammett) or the solo at the end of "We will rock you" (Brian May), etc. in TFM?

    V. Good thread. I want to learn more myself, my benchmarks are below:

Guitar solo in prelude and second interlude of the song Madanorchavam in Sathurangam ranks for me no.1 among guitar bits in any music. It is V Kumar, the entie song itself is no.1 for interludes and preludes. wholesome, flowing and unbelievable instrumental pieces! I wonder if Hotel California came before this song, i say because of the awesomeness and continuity of that piece? Any one knows?

second i like is Deva' ROCK guitar interlude in nee paper naan paena in panchathanthiram.

IR has got several and one of the earliest rockish ones - he did one for song in Moodupani - Paruvakaalangil Manathu. I am not much of a fan of ilayanila song bits, they are quite light, though great

And, i do see that Indian composers are much more zany, melodic and exciting than Western rock guitar.
