Well according to my grandmother, it is called marunthu selavu or legiyam.
It is made of many many herbs, ground and mixed with honey and ghee.
A tsp full is given every morning after delivery for about 6 months.
It is supposed to help in digestion, heal uterus/cervix wounds and
strengthen a woman's body after tough labour.
She says you can buy ready made in India nowadays.
She knows the names of the herbs, but her measurement are all in palams and so on. I do not know how to convert.
Chefs are just like children.
They should be seen not heard.

Never argue with a fool or he will drag you down to his level and beat you at it through sheer experience!
