How much scientific literature is available in Tamil?

First, please forgive me for being really naive.

I am not very familiar with print media in Tamil Nadu.

I lived for six years in Tamil Nadu, but I still know very little about print publications in Tamil.

I would like to know, how much scientific literature is available in Tamil? And how widely accessible is it?

I mean, are there any scientific journals like Nature, New England Journal of Medicine, etc. in the Tamil language?

Are there any general science magazines like New Scientist, etc. in Tamil? I've heard of a magazine called "ThuLeer" a long time ago, but any others?

Are there many popular science books - like Steven Pinker's How the mind works, VS Ramachandran's Phantoms in the Brain, Roger Penrose's The Emperor's New Mind, etc. published in Tamil?

Are there many undergraduate-level textbooks on electronics, computing, medicine, biology, psychology, etc. published in Tamil?

Please forgive me for my ignorance, but I would really like to know.

This is from a very old link:
    http://www.tamil.net/list/1999-08/msg00742.html

However, it mentions 'kalaikkadhir publications', which published the Thamizh tech magazine 'kalaikkadhir' those days from Coimbatore (GD naidu or PSG group).

I'm not sure whether it's still under print. Also it's possible this group did more work on technical books in Thamizh.

We regularly bought kalaikkathir when our kids were growing up! Nostalgic!
