it is of so very little consequence
lesser than when When forgot to be whence
not giving care to where one once came from
after all it was always some place
    on the spinning oil drum.

one's manner, one's looks, one inner face
all did not have to interfere
now that all we have are computed cogs
    and media controlled gears.

    What of individuality?
What of it? That old fad, a forgotten drag
    quantity has long outgrown
    the importance of quality.
    What of conscience?
    what of care?
    what of community?

All today place in the pursuit
    of duplicitous vanity.

    what a folly
    that the thudding heart
    always flutters
    carrying one breathlessly through muddles
    once naive
    always budding.

    reminiscing
    on any fancy free
peeping shly at every dizzying peak
beating on just to win a race
    never won, never done
    never conquered
    never sung
    never even knowing its begun.

    at another chance it flees
    towards
    the unnecessary:
    the trifling free
    just to exactidily
    capture an idle moment
    of reality-less glee.

    for some of us
    our solitudes
    are grounded in the Earth.

    We are its chosen vessals
and so it hungers to hold our bones.

    The wily winds, conspirers all
    cajole us to join
    the security of the soil.

    They dally past
    the tendrils that tentatively
    reach out...
    perchance to meet
    happenstance to stay

    severing all from our own
    flesh encased beings

    and so all alone
we turn to the gusts of iridescent dreams
    over lures
    our minds darken
    enriched only is ourselves

and the Earth awaits us longingly
    a while more...

The solid ground sometimes gives me the slip
knowing it appears unmoving to the eye.

    its man made platforms unsettles
    our mankind bones.

    Each structure faulting the other.

As if tarmac smothered dirt lurches for a breath
that is when it trips me best.

    Each fissure causing fissure.

Each thinnish crack a cry against
    the biped's concern for
    straightful, stride-easy strolls.

    Verdant growth lays unknown
    its fate sealed
    under stripe laden strips.

    Monstrous carts callously compress
    toxic tainted murals
    upon a much wearied body.

Each simmering, smelting cover a man-wrought burn.

My Apologies to those who find profanity in poor taste...but I could not convince myself to change what wanted to be written.

    Aloneso and Dolores met
on a Warm Sun Shiny Day.

    It didn't last...

    the weather i meant.

    As the two were
    thrown together
    by a thundering Tornado

    They realized that nothing
    was too sacred to sacrifice
    when you are scared shitless

    And so they parted hereafter
    knowing their love
    was not worth
    a Hurricane.

two own earts cannot be on eart.

but atleast two made it Happen.

    what happens now and then
    cannot be as unusual
as the things you take for granted
    not happening at all.
    many may not be breathing
    to see that very day,
    when everything you've known
makes no sense nor does it obey
    whatall you thought and taught.
    so merely see how merry
things are as you have always
    known them to be.
though what happens now and then
    may alter
    it does not take away
what you or me and too few others
can depend on day through day.
