Chennai Super Kings – Cheerleaders

Chennai Super Kings – Cheerleaders: Vijay TV, Friday, 10 p.m.

The search for the CSK Cheerleaders has intensified, as the 10-episode series draws to a close today. The skills of the teams were judged on their motivation levels, innovative routines and whacky slogans. Three teams — V Pop, Something Special and Let’s Dance — have made it to the finals.

The judges are cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh and model/actress Gayatri Jayaram. The winning team will be given the official status of the CSK Cheerleaders and receive a cash prize. The special guests for the grand finale are ‘Virumandi’ fame Abirami, Sona and ‘Kunguma Poovum Konjum Puravum’ stars Ramakrishnan and Tarun. Surya is the host.

(Vijay TV, Saturday & Sunday, 7 p.m.)

Running parallel to Chennai Super Kings – Cheerleaders, the Chennai Super Kings Junior talent hunt will identify the winning team on Sunday. The finals will be telecast on Saturday and Sunday. The State-wide hunt which covered Coimbatore, Tiruchi and Chennai, saw four teams compete.

The juniors rubbed shoulders with the Chennai Super Kings stars —Mathew Hayden, Stephen Fleming, M.S. Dhoni, Parthiv Patel, Badrinath and Suresh Raina. Krishnamachari Srikanth and L. Sivaramakrishan also made an appearance. The finals will be played between the two Chennai teams — Fiery Cubs and Silent Killers. Watch the exciting finale to find out which team walks away with the prize money of Rs. 6 lakhs and other exciting prizes from Reebok worth Rs. 3.6 lakhs.
Thamizh Pechu Engal Moochu Chuttigal

Thamizh Pechu Engal Moochu Chuttigal has created a platform for children in the 8-15 age group, to showcase their oratorical skills. Auditions were held in various cities such as Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tirunelveli, Salem and Tiruchi. From 160 orators, the best 50 made it to the finals.

These children will have to chose pieces from literary works and speak on them. Extempore skills will be judged on topics such as ‘Penn Viduthalai Vendum’, ‘Anbirkkum Undo Adaikkum Thaazh’ and ‘Meiporul Kaanbatharidu.’ Each participant will have five minutes to speak. Judges are writer/politician Subha Veera Pandiyan and Prof. Parveen Sultana.

விஜய் டி.வி.யில் ஒளிபரப்பாகி வரும் நிகழ்ச்சி "தமிழ்ப் பேச்சு எங்கள் மூச்சு'.

இதில், முழுக்க முழுக்க சிறுவர்கள் பங்கேற்கிறார்கள். தமிழ்நாட்டின் பல நகரங்களில் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கப்பட்ட 50 குழந்தைகளுக்கு முதல் தகுதி சுற்று போட்டிகள் நடைபெற உள்ளது.

50 சிறுவர்களுக்கும் "பெண் விடுதலை வேண்டும்', "அன்பிற்கும் உண்டோ அடைக்குந் தாழ்', "மெய்பொருள் காண்பதரிது', "செந்தமிழ் நாடெனும் போதினிலே' போன்ற பாரதியார், பாரதிதாசன் கவிதைகள் மற்றும் திருக்குறளின் வாக்கியங்கள் அளிக்கப்படும். போட்டியாளர்கள் இந்தத் தலைப்பை வைத்து கொண்டு தற்போது உள்ள சூழ்நிலையுடன் ஒப்பிட்டுப் பேசுவார்கள்.

சிறுவர்களின் தமிழ் ஆற்றலை மதிப்பிட சுப வீரபாண்டியன், பேராசிரியை ப்ரவீன் சுல்தானா ஆகியோர் நடுவர்களாக கலந்து கொண்டு சிறுவர்களின் மேடை ஆளுமை, பேச்சுத்திறன், தமிழ் மொழி மீது கொண்டுள்ள பற்று, விவாத திறமை ஆகியவற்றின் அடிப்படையில் சிறுவர்களைத் தேர்ந்தெடுக்கின்றனர்.

குழந்தைகளின் பேச்சுத் திறனை வெளிக் கொண்டு வரும் இந்த நிகழ்ச்சி (மே-10) ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை ஒளிபரப்பாகிறது.

வித்தியாசமான பெயரில் புதிய நிகழ்ச்சி


வித்தியாசமாகவும், புதுமையாகவும் நிகழ்ச்சிகளை வழங்குவதில் விஜய் தொலைக்காட்சிக்கு நிகர் விஜய் தொலைக்காட்சியே எனலாம். தற்போது 'சுழியம்' என்ற பெயரில் புதிய நிகழ்ச்சி ஒன்றை நேற்று முதல் (04.05.09) ஒளிப்பரப்பி வருகிறது. வித்தியாசமான பெயரில் வித்தியாசமான நிகழ்ச்சி இது என்றால் அதுமிகையல்ல.

நம் வாழ்வில் நடைப்பெற்று வரும் பல உண்மை சம்பவங்களை சம்மந்தப்பட்டவர்கள் மூலமாகவே ஒளிப்பரப்பும் நிகழ்ச்சிகளை இதுவரை நாம் பார்த்திருக்கிறோம். இதுவும் அதுபோன்ற நிகழ்ச்சிதான் என்றாலும் சற்று வித்தியாசமானது.

இப்படியெல்லாம் நடக்குமா.. இப்படியும் மனிதர்கள் இருப்பார்களா..? என்று நாம் நினைக்கும் அளவிற்கு நம் சமூகத்தில் அரங்கேறி வரும் பல அவலங்களை ... பாதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள் மூலமாக நமக்கு வழங்கும் நிகழ்ச்சிதான் 'சுழியம்'.

திங்கள் முதல் வியாழன் வரை இரவு 7.30க்கு ஒளிப்பரப்பாகும் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் விறுவிறுப்புக்கு பஞ்சம் இருக்காது..!

நம்ம வீட்டு கல்யாணம்


விஜய் தொலைக்காட்சியில் ஒளிப்பரப்பாகி வரும் புதுமையான நிகழ்ச்சிகளில் ஒன்று 'நம்ம வீட்டு கல்யாணம்'. பல பிரபலங்களின் திருமணத்தில் ஏற்பட்ட சுவையான, கலகலப்பான சம்பவங்கள் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியில் ஒளிப்பரப்பப்பட்டு வருகிறது.

டாக்டர் அன்புமணி திருமண நிகழ்ச்சியில் முதல்வர் கருணாநிதி, முன்னாள் முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா மற்றும் பலர் கலந்து கொண்ட வீடியோ காட்சிகளும் ஒளிப்பரப்பவிருக்கின்றன.
