Allan, Malick, Scorsese, Oldman, Iglesias, Plummer, Farhadi - Overall, meh.

Oscar's the main event. Rich people dressed up, having champagne, & thanking each other. Bafta is a tad better, Oldman vs Fassbender..Bafta's got Senna vs We need to talk about Kevin, A Separation vs The Skin I live in.

Forget lead acting, it's all about the dogs this year: Beginners, Tintin, Anatolia, The Artist, Tyrannosaur, 50/50, Take Shelter. But the oscar goes to 'Rosie 47' for "People vs Arry Redknapp"
    ...an artist without an art.

What happened to The Skin I Live In? It was a very good film, we don't even have to compare it with War Horse and all.

It looks like "The Artist" is going to make it big in the oscars this year.

One reason to watch Oscar this year: Billy Crystal.
    " நல்ல படம் , சுமாரான படம் என்பதையெல்லாம் தாண்டியவர் நடிகர் திலகம் . சிவாஜி படம் தோற்கலாம் ..சிவாஜி தோற்பதில்லை." - Joe Milton.
