The 22nd of December was the death anniversary of Vasant Desai, VJ's mentor. His death was very unfortunate and cruel - he was crushed while entering a malfunctioning elevator while returning home from work. The year 1975 saw the death of three great Hindi film music directors: Madan Mohan, S D Burman and Vasant Desai.

I got hold of a devotional cd titled "om ganapathi saranam" presented by Gulshan kumar and consists of vinayaka and muruga devotional songs by various singers and VJ ( some slokas and some songs). Did anybody listen to it ?
