I googled and found this review Padayappa(1999), pls check

    http://www.indolink.com/tamil/cinema...pa_163019.html

Vetrikodi kattu.. is kinda mix of Hindu and Muslim religious tune, but it completes the task of usual Rajini's morale booster.

I am sure about the interview. My guess is the interludes (trumphet?,bg) part can be inspired. Not sure tho!. Good Lyrics!

"Elanthapazham Ezhanthapazham unakkuthaan" (Madurai) and "Rendilathaan Onna Thara Variya??" (Giri) sounds pretty much same, is it just a coincidence both songs were relased almost at same time??

Donno if its already mentioned(34 pages is too much to read ): Kanden Kanden(Madurey) seemed inspired from Azhagana Manjappura(Ellame En Rasathan).

interz, that song "eLanthapazham" from Madura starts off the same way like "singara kaathu" , an 80's IR song. Chitra is the singer . I forgot the film name.

I listened to one English Album.. couldn't recollect the name

I think it is - "Back To the Rivers" (Not sure)

The initial BGM reminded me the initial scores of ARR in KAADHAL DESAM.

The song is "Enai kaanavillayae netrodu"

The initial mild drums were much more similar in both these things.

I was watching conterversial movie director Oliver Stone's "U-Turn" music by Ennio Morricone and heard a familiar BGM. I heard this bgm in Nayagan played during three telegu brothers device a heist to bring down Kamal. U-Turn was released in 1997 but Ennio Morricone has been in the Hollywood market for more than 40 years so I am not sure who inspired whom.

Listen to " A Careless Sheriff" track in U-turn from the following link
