Third rated MDs who surprised us with some great songs!!

Shankar Ganesh's Neeya movie songs especially "Ore Jeevan Ondre Ullam.."
T.Rajender's contious hits like "Oruthalai Raagam", Rayil Payanangalil, Uyrullavarai Usha, Mythili ennai Kaathali (Oru Ponmaanai Naan Kaana, Naanum intha uravai). Some of these songs were super-duper hits during those years.

Guys, when I say great songs, I wouldn't consider songs that are copied and inspired (e.g deva'svaali songs, SG's neeya songs and megame megame are remade from original hindi tunes).

Secondly, I dont consider deva, bharadwaj, vidhyasagar, HJ, KR, YSR are third rated MDs. They are neither third rated nor top class. So we don't have to list their songs.

Devendiran's music in Vedham Puthithu.I think the songs are class in that movie.Amsalekha's KodiParakuthu,Captain Magal are the best pieces.Even natukku oru nallavan had some good songs from him.S.P.Venkatesh from kerala produced an international standard music in the movie Airport(Starring SatyaRaj and Directed by Shaji Kailash).Even that movie doen't have songs you could probably listen to the world class BGM from the movie.Ranith Parod's VIP is another great piece to be mentioned.
Late Mahesh's Kuruthipunaal,Nammavar are classy ones.Again Kuruthi with no songs is worth to mention here for its rerecording.Adithyan, have given Amaran and SevelapariPandi which were unique albums stands out.I don't want to list Balabarathy as a third rated music director,anyway his Thalaivasal and Amaravathi are far better than any other copy cat MD's hyped ones.He is underrated.

'Senthoora Poove neeyum thaen kondu va va' ...is by Manoj Gyan and not by SAR. Manoj Gyan has offered some good music in Abaavaanan movies like "Oomai Vizhigal", Inaintha Kaigal. I still wonder why he did not proceed further.

SAR's "Irubadhu kodi nilavugal koodi" in Thullatha manamum thullum is an all time great song IMO. It has been (somewhat) inspired by IR's all time great Payanangal mudivadhillai song "thogai iLa mayil aadi varugudhu".

Sankar Ganesh have composed too many nice tunes for them to classified as third rate.

Even Ramana Gokula has comes with a couple of nice ones in Badri.
