where did i take a cheap shot at kamal?? ....i just told if someone makes fun of kamal for his chappani role, it will be very funny cos he has come leaps and bounds over it..........thats it ........

Would people believe if I were to say that there was a big tussle between KB and Kamal for purchasing the rights from the original ?

Basu Chattergy the man who popularised middle stream cinema in Hindi with lesser known stars by casting Amol Palekar as hero, directed "Choti si Baat" , "Chit Chor" and then "Gol Mol".

KB and Kamal fought for Tamil rights of Gol Mol and KB won and picked Rajini for title role. Then to show that there is no rivalry between him and Kamal, KB called up Kamal for that cameo and Kamal gladly did the same.
