We can call plagiarism as unofficial remake

Examples are :

Kaadhal Konden -- Guna

Pudupettai --- Nayagan

Manmadan --- Sivapu Rojakal

Jana --- Baasha

Pokiri , Madurey --- Paandiyan

Indian --- Thamizhan, Citizen, Sivapathigaram, lot lot more!

Kamal's Guru -- Gentleman

Joot [ srikanth] --- Dhool

Vallavan --- Padayappa

Ghajini -- Memento

PKMS ---- Derailed

Dhil ---- Kaaaki sattai

What about unofficial remake/inspiration/rip-off/based upon/etc of Hollywood? I guess if you do you'd offend many fans.

Few days back ,there was a programm on NT by Kannadasan's daughter Vishali .She mentioned Annamalai story is a straight lift from old NT movie 'AnbaLippu'.

btw, wat we have heard of "shivaji"'s story till now ->

a NRI who comes to India with lots of money and good will is cheated by the people here.........he bounces back to take revenge on them.......

does it sound any bells , Joe???
