    Resurgent Austrlian Cricket

As they slipped again and again under Ponting, there were fears they'll go the Windies way. But Clarke has revived them and how! The underdogs have pulled the rug under the former #1 India's feet. They will be happy with a 1-0 lead in the Border-Gavaskar series 2011-2012. Let's celebrate the Aussie Cricket team, behind only the England Cricket team in World Cricket today.

This is a chatterjee thread. Although everyone knows this I am mentoning it for unsuspecting varungaala iLaignargaL who may read this and take it seriously.

    They couldn't defeat SA.
They couldn't defeat NZ at home. Lost their first test in 20 odd years at home to NZ!

Their batting is trash. Warner's one-off was not convincing. Marsh yet to perform consistently enough.
They are plainly reliant on Ponting, Hussey or Clarke to click. And there seems to be no assurance that one of them will.
Haddin is clearly no Prior- was once upon a time was being billed as better!

The only good thing is the bowling strength. That too only quicks.
Still no spinner at sight. Except in Day One Dustbowl Galle, Lyon has not performed.

They will (and did) bulb in the subcontinent.
They can't defeat a really good team at home (wink wink) or for that matter even NZ.
Forget winning overseas. West Indies vENumnA try paNNalaam. pOyi oru Frank ural trophy vaangittu vandhurungadA. Sammy aruL purivaar.

P_R The team which won the boxing day test was w/o Twatto,Harris,Cummins..their reserve pool of fast bowlers is second to none...If and when Pup/Punter find their purple patch I could see them challenging Eng..Warner bubble will burst soon and he is their "ATG" and Callum Ferguson is their Rohit Sharma
