German car giant Mercedes has bought the Brawn Formula 1 team in a move that is likely to see Jenson Button join McLaren as Lewis Hamilton's team-mate.

Brawn GP will be renamed as Mercedes GP for next season.

Nico the crash machine Rosberg will be their lead driver, with Nick-gerhard-berger's-unexciting-heir-of-the-decade-Heidfeld is expected to partner him..

ok it's official.. kimi is going to take a sabbatical for next season..

so most politically honest, one of the fastest, a former world champion is out of seat for the season..

this is sad..

i'm just so sad atm..

sure, it's a sabbatical.. but by now everybody knows that sabbatical in f1 never worked and will never work.. it didn't work for mansall, it didn't work for prost, it didn't work for hakkinen and trust me it won't work for kimi..

Any sport in which a british pansie becomes a champion is doomed...how the hell did Jenson Button become a world champion all of a sudden. With such a pathetic record for 10 years, are we even supposed to beleive that the driver has got anything to do with success these days in F1?
