sang this song?

I amnot sure in which film but it was during 1950-1955. Probably TMS ?

There's this one old P. Susheela song entitled "Nilaiyaaga En Nenjil Oli Veesum Geetham Neeye Illaamal En Kaathal Vedham" (or something along those lines). It's a GREAT song set to Mohana raagam (or Bhoopali?), and I can listen to it over and over again countless times. Which film is it from, and who's the MD?

Congtratulations on your great website.
I am a South African born Tamil lady, desperately looking for a song/lyrics for our Tamil Eisteddford dance item. The only info I have is that the song talks about a quasi-modern tamil man, threatening to look in Singapore and Sri Lanka for a modern tamil girl. The girl then sings about the charms of a village tamil girl. I have no clue about the artist or song title. Can you please help???
