Yogeswaran is shocked to see Arasi but she and her family leave before he can approach her. He asks the priest of her whereabouts. The priest informs him that the Judge is staying at Rameshwaram's government guesthouse.

Yogeswaran goes to the guesthouse and asks to see Judge Tamilarasi. The security guard says she is not a judge, that is her husband. He stops Yog from going into the house.

Next Yog is contemplating when his wife Thangam turns up and he tells her he has seen someone he has hoped not to see again. Thangam doesn't understand. Yog says it is fate that they have all come together at Rameshwaram at the same time. He doesn't reveal to Selvi or Thangam about Arasi.

Meanwhile GJ approaches Selvi and Cauvery and tells his 2nd wife they should live together. Selvi refuses. GJ enquires about Tamarai's last letter which Selvi says she will hand over to the authorities. GJ threatens her and Cauvery so that she doesn't hand in the letter.

Yog manages to sneak into the guesthouse where Arasi is staying but is caught by Arasi's children. He makes a commotion until Arasi and her husband come. He tells Arasi he has come to return something which belongs to her ...
