Badri, my answer lies in this:
"Badri, I am surprised by your views about marriage!"
Eager to watch the trends of the world & to nurture in the youth who carry the future world on their shoulders a right sense of values.

    PP, தங்கள் கதை அருமையாக கவிதை நடையில் இருந்தது.

me too agree with badri... more than a sex, there is lot in the life... sexual life is for just a small period... apart from this, life is filled with love...

andha penn seidhadhu naan thappu nu solla.. but, 100% correct illa... oru vela second marriage senjikiranga, andha second person um seri illaina? 3rd aa??? appo edhu marriage nu oru vishayam... marriage illamale kidaikume???

and designer, some thing pointed about nature... nature gives sexual feeling, only to give birth to the child not to enjoy other thoughts... we are spoiling it...

naama ella vishayathilum iyarkai ya thaandi thaan pooi irukom... adhula idhuvum onnu...

idhu aan aadhikamo or kalacharam pathina vishayamo illa... idhu anbu sambandha pattadhu.... badri sonna maadhiri, natpu aa irukuradhu... naan kelvi patta varaikum yaarum onnum 24 hrs thaambathiyathulaiye irukuradhu illa...

    ennudaiya kelvi um idhu thaan...

Sip & Badri : I think i have not been able to convey properly my views. I didn't say sex is the be all and end all of married life. what i meant was, it IS ESSENTIAL in married life - atleast in initial years. Practically speaking, in modern times, if a person doesnt find sexual fulfilment in marriage, there'a high possibility that he might go astray. Or as in case of women (for eg the lady in the story), the marriage will break up.

If sex was not required for procreation, Mother Nature wouldn't have included it in the first place, with the pleasure element in it. For the initial bond between a married couple to become strong and grow into understanding & friendship, sexual bond is ALSO necessary, atleast in the initial stages of marriage. In many real life instances i have seen, the husband becomes bed ridden due to some disease or, becomes 'not functional' after some years. In such cases, the marriages have held strong bcos the couple had crossed the sexual barrier too. And there was no more feeling of lacking something, either for the husband or the wife. Morover, in married life, even in love marriages, there arise many misunderstandings and grouses between the couple. And such problems get magnified if there's lack of sex in the relationship. Again i am talking about the initial stages of married life.

Only in rare cases, one may find instances where the wife or husband has not been able to fulfil the nuptial duties properly, and the marriage remained successful - WITHOUT either partner seeking fulfilment outside marriage. And i havent seen any such real life couples in modern times.

madam,u're a agelong member of this hub.i'm respecting u as my tutor here.today i read a story by my friend(abilash, whose poems were in the contest thread)about prostitutes.urs is about a destitute.as my comment went into deaf ears i've to post it again here.overall a good story.perhaps ure girl is in the midtream of puthumaippen and vaazhaavetti, excellent portrayal through words was appreciable, though an unsatisfaction comes in the climax.it could have been more rock-solid.
