    ennadhu

Golmal/TM-la aNNan thambi-nu namba vekkiraanga. And there are SO many scenes in which the other characters wonder if they both are the same. Even GM annan's thEdinEn vandhadhu, nadigan etc. are OK in that aspect.

But RNBDJ-la sondha purusan, knowing very well that he does not have a brother, even if he had one, andha "tanni-partner" avar thambi illai-nu theriyum and NOT a single scene in which she thinks that guy resembles his dear hubby.

    Edhu Dear Hubby ehh/?

They marry just because of her dad's wish on the death bed. Eventhough they are married they live seperately in the same house. They just see each other only during thier meal times. Her husband is so timid and not so outgoing whereas the SRK is so flirty and outgoing. She spends most of the time with this other guy during her dance classes and outside than with this supposed to be married husband. I agree this all is not foolproof but they haven't taken the audience entirely for a ride is my NSHO. Idhai vida evvalavo padangal nammalai mottai adichirukku indha dhamma thoondu mistake-kku ivvalo adithadiyaannu yosikarein.

Naama enna ella padathayum nondi nondi mistake ellam paathuta irukkom- Enna nerd naan solrardhu :P.

I take back the dear hubby, oru flow-la vandhuruchu. Padam pAkkura ellArukkum adhu SRK-nu theriyumbOdhu avaLukkum mattum theriyaadhaa??

About mottai adithal, 80s/MGR films (adhaavadhu oru machcham vechittA pOdhum ). Adhu kooda climax fight etc. adhukku dhaan. Here the whole film is built upon that thing Noughts-la oru padam sollunga pAppOm. RNBDJ was horrendous, regressive and an insult to the viewer's intelligence.

Agree. adhu mattum vEra yaarO ezhudhinA maadhiri...significantly better than the rest of the film (lots of improvisations perhaps...to self: for a moment don't bother about the cooking and enjoy the food). Irfan Khan is excellent. Konkona...hmm ok she is very good too as usual.

The Shilpa-Shiney track is heavily inspired by David Lean's "Brief Encounter". Shilpa acting was actually quite impressive !
