    Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday. Boyle was obviously inspired by Kashyap's Bombay. Particularly evidenced by the chase sequences [the exceptionally drawn out chase of Imtiaz in the second chapter is quite lovely filmmaking. It is obvious that the editor had trouble leaving shots out].
    Great music by Indian Ocean as well and the acting is excellent across the board. I am now looking forward to Dev D!

    Yes LM. That is what prompted me to watch a DVD I had lying around for a year and a half - I wanted to see to what extent. What I intended to say was that his being influenced by the movie is quite understandable because it is quite impressive. Boyle uses more dutch angles I think, but some of the locations were almost deja'-vu inducing.

    They should have picturised songs in a better way...

    Kashyap himself was influenced by Battle Of Algiers for BF - World Movies channel la sonnaar. Rendayum revisit pannanum...
