Saturn transiting the 8th house in Kocharam will create many problems. I have seen "practical examples" where the concerned person goes through lot of troubles and at least once he will visit prison during this time. His health will take a beating. Will lose his job and will create panic in the family. Avanmanam nerya varum. People generally focus more on 7.5 Saturn period more. Astamathu Sani effect is more or less the same. Effect will be more if Saturn is placed in the 8th house in the person's horoscope. Just a year ago, a close relative of mine was accused by his neighbour that he tried to molest her. Mistake was not his but the lady was trying to use it to make him vacate the house that doesn't belong to her. As a result, he had to pay a visit to the police station and stay there for a day till it was settled in the station itself without any case. These kind of things can happen during this period.

Yes. Sudhaama is perfect as usual in his views. Rahu generally brings lot of luck and can continously bring it during his DASA if he is a beneficial planet as per the native's horoscope. Read in suppaiya sir's classroom that Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji ganesan had lot of success after Parasakthi. He had a strong Raghu and it continued for him for the next 15+ years!
