Here is a composition by Shri Purandaradasaru. Song describes about the good people in this society
will be known to others when teasers around them are there to tease them.

    Lyric goes here:

    rAga: nAdanAmakriya/hiMdUstAni kApi
    tALa: aTTa
    racane: shrI puraMdaradAsaru

    niMdakarirabEku /pa/
haMdiyiddare kEri hyAMge shuddhiyo hAMge /anupa/

    aMdaMdu mADida pApaveMba mala
    tiMdu hOguvarayya niMdakaru
    vaMdisi stutisuva janarellaru namma
    poMdida puNyavanoyyuvarayya /1/

    duShTajanaru I sRuShTiyoLiddare
    shiShTa janarigella kIrtigaLU
    iShTaprada shrIkRuShNa ninnoLu
    iShTE varavanu bEDuvenayya /2/

    duruLa janaMgaLu cirakAlaviruvaMte
    karava mugidu varava bEDuvenu
    paripari tamasige guriyaharallade
    parama dayAnidhe puraMdaraviThala /3/

    Meaning of the song:

There should be (irabEku) teasers (niMdakaru) around
Like (hAMge) pigs (haMdiyiddare) in a village to clean (shuddhiyo) up lane/by-lanes (kEri)

These teasers (niMdakaru) will eat (tiMdu) away (hOguvarayya)
the sins (pApaveMba mala) committed (mADida) by us on day to day (aMdaMdu)
The people (janarellaru) who praise/wish (vaMdisi stutisuva) us
will take away (oyyuvarayya) our (namma) virtue (puNyava)

    when miscreants/wicked (duShTa) people (janaru)
are there in this world (sRuShTiyoLiddare)
Good (shiShTa) people (janarigella) will get reputation (kIrtigaLu)
ShrI Krishna who fulfil our desires (iShTaprada)
it is my humble wish (iShTE bEDuvenayya) to have your boon (varavanu)

I will pray (bEDuvenu) you for the boon (varava) with folded hands (karava mugidu)
let there be bad (duruLa) people (janaMgaLu) forever (cirakAlaviruvaMte)
puraMdaraviThala with supreme (parama) kind-heart (dayAnidhe)
good people have to undergo (guriyaharallade) tests/darkness (tamasige) often (paripari)

    Today is Vaikunta Ekadashi.
Here is another philosophical composition, also known as Purandaropanishad by Shri Purandaradasaru.
It needs elaborate description to dig out the essence of this compositon.
Shri Bannanje Govidacharya has given discourse/pravachana in kannada about this song for nearly 2 hours. (Youtube Links given at the end)

    Lyric goes here:

    rAga: kApi/nAdanAmakriya/nAyaki/rEvati
    tALa: ChApu/ATTa/KaMDaChApu
    rachane: shrIpuraMdaradAsaru

    kaNNinoLage nODo hariya oLa
    gaNNiniMdali nODO mUjaga doreya /pa/

    AdhAra modalAda Aru chakra
    shOdhisi suDabEku IShaNa mUru
    sAdhisi suShumna Eru alli
    bEdhisi nI parabrahmana sEru /1/

    evehAkade mEle nODu muMde
    pavanadiMdali vAyu baMdhana mADu
    savidu nAdava pAna mADu alli
    navavidha bhaktiyali nalinalidADu /2/

    aMDajadoLu ADutAne bhAnu
    maMDala nArAyaNaneMbuvane
    kuMDali tudiyoLiddAne shrI pu
    raMdara viThalanu pAlisutAne /3/

    Meaning of the song:

You have to see (nODO) HARI (hariya) with your inner-eyes (kaNNinoLage)
See (nODO) HIM who is king (doreya) of three worlds (mUjaga); through your inner/intelectual eyes (oLagaNNiniMdali)

Purify and burn (shOdhisi suDabEku) those six chakras (adhAra modalAda Aru chakra) and overcome (sAdhisi) three (mUru) desires
(eeShaNAs - money, successors, attempting to get into heaven)
and get into (Eru) supreme (suShumna) place, and penetrate (bhEdhisi) to acquire (sEru) PARABRAHMA (parabrahmana)

    About Shatchakra (six chakras):
    http://www.namaste.it/kundalini/kund...g/chakras.html

See (nODu) the elevated (mEle) place without blinking (evehAkade) inner eyes
Control (baMdhana mADu) your breath (vAyu) by the help of PAVANA (pavanadiMdali)
There you will feel (savidu) the fascinating/supreme melody (praNava-OM) (nAdava)
Get elated (pAnava mADu) to dance (nali nalidADu) by nine types (nava vidha) of devotion (bhaktiyali)

So called NARAYANA (nArAyaNa neMbuvane) belongs to cosmic world (bhAnu maMDala)
will be seen playing (ADutAne) every-where (aMDajadoLu)
HE is at the end (tudiyoLiddAne) of yogic centre (kuMDalini)
Shri purandara viThala will nurture (pAlisutAne) us

    Dear Lakshmanji

I searched all my collections, but I could not find the lyric you mentioned.
But in the web ‘samagra dasa sahitya’, there are 2 compositions by Shri VADIRAJARU,
starts with ‘NARAYANA NARAYANA NARAYANA, having 10 and 12 charanas.
Both of them describing Dashavatharas of Lord. But I did not find any compositions by Shri Purandaradasaru.
Do you have any audio clips?

    Dear Lakshmanji

Yes. Song definitely describes Dashavatara of Lord.
It needs little spelling corrections to obtain correct meaning.
