    Here is one interesting musical quiz song from the film ‘maMtralaya mahAtme’ .
    It is a feast to lovers of Karnatic music. Though it is not a devaranama, or keerthana or dasarapada, it is definitely classified under
    Karnatic music. The situation of the song is, when Shri Venkatanatha (Shri Guru Raghavendra rayaru of Mantralaya) along with his
    Guru visited Thanjavur and compitation of all types of poetry, art/music was taken place.

    In this song, bharathanatyam dancer (Shailashree) had to stop her performance because of wrong beats of
    Mrudangam player. Then another person (Rajashankar) who knows to play Mrudangam will take over and ends up beating
    dancer in her performance.

    Sung by Sulamangalam Rajalakshmi and the (less known) Music Director is P S Diwakar. Film is directed by T V Singh Takur/Rajan

    keeps away (dUradalliDuva) all the improper behaviours (dushcharitagaLanella)
    who will destroy (baDiva) demons (asurara) not liked (allada) by ACHYUTA (achyutage)

    exquisite (manOhara) person (mUrti) who killed Manmatha (mArana gedda)
