Meaning of the song:
It is a cot made of 5 sense organs/legs (also refers to panchabhoota), human life represents our SOUL (kuMTa)
(kuMTa – is a lame man without legs to move around) who was sleeping (malagidda) on this cot with 5 legs (aidu kAlina maMcha). Besides, he had the three supporting features: satva (purity/knowledge), raja (action/passion), thama (ignorance/inertia) - (mUru daMDagaLannu bagaligiLisidda)
After this, all the five organs have got their own hands and legs (iddaida kAligU kaikAlu baMtu), and the cot started moving while he (soul) was sleeping (kuMTa malagiddaMte maMcha dhAvisitu) on the cot.
Lust, anger, greed, emotion/temptation, pride/humble, envy/jealousy refers to kAma, krOdha, lObha, mOha, mada, mAtsarya, all the above SIX strong persons (Aru jana dAMDigaru) pulled (kaihiDidereLadu) the SOUL from that cot.
