Sabaash, Joe, sariyaana topic!
As an actress, one has to admire Savithri's versatility, and sheer screen presence, leave alone her beauty. Her performances in Missiamma and Paasamalar and the oh-so-cheeky role in Mayabazaar definitely leave us floored.
At the same time, can one leave out Padmini? Vizhiyaley vidai koorum paavai allava?
But, Roshan's timely intervention brought Lakshmi on to the stage (here). She is an enigma, her acting doesn't stand out but that is not because of a lack of talent, rather the talent in easily blending into the scene and not standing out. To me, her natural acting is reminiscient in many ways of Kamal's style.
These three really get my vote!
When we stop labouring under the delusion of our cosmic self-importance, we are free of hindrance, fear, worry and attachment. We are liberated!!!

Joe,
It is an insult if you had not included such a talented actress, when you have included even Vaanishree there in your list. It is quite surprising too. Please do amend your list
yep,
I fully agree with Roshan!

My vote is for Savithri since she's the one who can match Shivaji's acting. And that's why she's also called Nadigayar Thilagam.
