wouldnt VM be the right choice for this kinda film??? for any class movie, VM is awesome. i miss kandukondein kandukondein.

VM is only writes for Mani's film..Dilse(uyire),yuva(ayitha eluthu) and guru..Guru's lyrics wasnt that impressive but uyire n AE were brilliant..

but remember the 90's ARR songs? the lyrics were good enough to match the music. thats an accomplishment in itself.

but my fav.after kannadasan, is vaali only.innum 30 year's ponalum appa ulla trend-kum poruthama songs panna kudiya oru oruvar avarthan 'vaaliba'kavizhar vaali!his lyrics very simple and but powerfull.

ya for ARR, vaali and vairamuthu r damn good. they give lyrics that support the music in the right way. should've been VM or vaali, but we'll see how Na does it. u never know, it might be really good. all we can do is be ARR fans -- wait and see.
