My favourite album in Malayalam "Vasantha Geethangal" composed by Ravindran Mash. I was actually looking for the CD and its not available anywhere in the market. If somebody can help me,that will be greatful...

Hi V_S ,There were a lot of these songs in the late 70's and eighties which was a golden era for Lalitha Ganams and devotional albums. Most of the songs which came during these times were smash hits. Dakshinamoorthy was one composer who contributed enormously and the other one was Ravindran. Good to see that youtube has links to some of those memorable classics of yesteryears which shouldn't be missed.

A nice composition in raga darbari kannada from the movie "appu". P Sundarajan who had worked as an assistant for ilayaraja has just scored one song in malayalam and that turned out to be a super hit.Shades of raja found somewhere in those interludes:- Listen to this below

Mamooty was superb as greasy, womanising murderer Haji Ahmed. The other role was walk in park for him.
Too bad didn't catch the first half an hour, and missed the last half an hour. Good thriller.
