raj sir,
Again you read my mind. Last week it was Roshan's week for me and you aptly picked two exquisite numbers of Chitalkar and Roshan ji from Stree and Aarti. Aarti is one of Roshan ji's best and my all time favorite. Every song in that film proves the genius in Roshan ji. Great to hear the ragam info for baar baar tohe kya. Every time I hear Aarti songs, I never failed shedding tears. Every composition is truly a masterpiece created only for singing Gods Raji and Lata. Aapne Yaad Dilaya To Mujhe Yaad Aaya. Thanks for reminding!
Sunil,
Thanks a lot for mera pyar wohi hai from Yeh Raat Phir Nahi Aayegi. I found the video of the song. Ravishing Sharmila Tagore with handsome Biswajeet.

For kuhu kuhu bole koyaliya I only heard the Thamizh version, but the original is in Telugu sung by legends Ghantasala and Jikki while thamizh version was sung by Ghantasala and P Susheela, composed by Adi Narayana Rao (husband of Anjali Devi, she is the one acting for this song). One of the greatest composition, (not just in films) by Adi Narayana Rao. I think the hindi version is dubbed version of Telugu. In Thamizh the lead actor is different; Gemini Ganesan. Any budding singer in reality show does not fail to sing this song. Here is the thamizh version.

Back to my favorite music director Madan Mohan ji and Lata ji. This time from Chacha Zindabad (1959) starring Kishore Kumar. Is it Bhageshwari? Enna oru composition, all immortal classic!

Wow, surprising I thought mera pyar might have been dubbed from thamizh/telugu, but I got the opposite hehe. Whenever I hear Kaahe Chhed Mohe http://youtube.com/watch?v=ZQrZr8c-xRY It reminds me of Kuhu Kuhu. Ismail Darbar

The late Ravi has undoubtedly left us with great songs.
Here's a song that has been doing the rounds at birthdays ever since it was released.

Sunil, I am not sure what is mera pyar song is. I think you got it. I was saying Telugu is the original of Kuhu Kuhu Bole. Hindi was dubbed from Telugu, while Thamizh was remade from Telugu. Thanks for sharing Kaahe Chhed Mohe.
