    love the lyrics..looks the song goes well with any kinda situation (including some current controversies...lol...ahir dil tho bacha hai...aur kacha bhi hai !) . Reminds me of rajkapoor style of songs...and voice too...hmm... for sharing.

    Gulzar- Vishal Bharadwaj is a wonderful combination.

    Hear the (sung by VB himself)

    Gulzar's lyrics have such beautiful choice of words
    Ek dil se dosti thi / yeh huzoor bhi kaminey
    and evocative imagery
    Masoom sa kabutar / Naacha to mor nikla
    imagine being able to portray a beautiful dancing peacock as an unpleasant surprise.

    Gulzar is a cut above. I am going in reverse discovering some of his older songs. Any recommendations ?
