As a tribute to Iyakkunar Sigaram thiru K. Balachander, I am posting songs from his 1984 Hindi movie
EK NAYI PAHELI, which was a remake of APOORVA RAAGANGAL. The movie featured Kamal, Hema Malini
(Srividya in Tamil) and Raj Kumar (Major Sundarrajan in Tamil). Anand Bakshi’s lyrics were set to music
    by Laksmikant/Pyarelal .

“yeh preet aisi paheli…” (Lata Mangeshkar/ Kavita Krishnamurthy)

“zindagi ki is safar ki…” (K.J. Yesudas)

(Couldn’t locate the original video track online)

“is man kO ik thes lagi…” (Lata Mangheshkar)

“meri mehabooba se tum…” (S.P. Balasubramaniyam)

    “janoo todi batiyan…” (Anuradha Paudwal)
