I watched saraswathin sabadham yesterday and enjoyed it a lot.When did this movie release?Is there any more movies like this (Sami padam/historical movie) released during the 60s or 70s?

Hey ssanjiknka, try to get a DVD or VCD of VEERA PANDIYA KATTA BOMMAN. Indeed the action by Mr.Sivaji Ganesan is astounding. I love that movie. All actors have done extremely well in that movie. Not to say about Sivaji Ganesan.

Also see KARNAN done by him. It is more sintillating.
