I think Manikam is in the hospital to look after his mother.
I don't think he is sick.

Bose's Garments will be burnt down and so, they are sad.
Gopi will have fight with a local Rowdy so, his garments will be smashed with that local rowdy. and also his family is facing lots of problems because of that rowdy.
