A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is going somewhere.

yesterday we had the finals of vaanavil paadal thiran pOtti. every year a without-work MD is called to judge the winner and award the prize which is always a car.
so we have seen bharadwaj, dEva, srikanth dEva, dhina, etc over the last few years.
y'day's vetti MD was karthik raja confirming his current status in tfm.
he was extremely nervous and even said so.
ok, I dont know whether this is common knowledge or not, but KR hates ARR (unlike yuvan who has a healthy respect) so, I guess he must have seen red when 6 of the 8 finalists sang ARR songs.
and to make matter worst, the organisers were so insensitive as not to even have a single of his song, sung as interludes (I like many of his earlier songs) and to rub it in even those were ARR's
so it was a fuming KR who was summoned to conduct the final category where he was supposed to interview the shortlisted 3. Luckily for him, he didnt ask who their fav MD was.
but he did ask who was their fav singer and then asked them to sing one of his/her songs.
in my opinion, the mottai thalai ramanan was the best - unfortunatley he said Hariharan was his fav and sang nilaa kaayuthu (excellently I must add)
the only saving grace was chaarumadhi who said asha bhonsle and sang shenbagamE
and as expected she won the award and the Mahindra Scorpio 4wd plus 10 grand.
ok, why do you think I am all these here? well, to show off my usage of the new icons of course.
Never argue with a fool or he will drag you down to his level and beat you at it through sheer experience!
