    Study on Carnatic/Western music

    Hi guys!

    I would like to discuss more about musical elements rather than speaking about Md's and their copying.
    I don't know about music, but studied Guitar somehow.so, interested peoples who really likes to reveal the Music can discuss here.

    I would like to explore things of music in A-Z, i am expecting peoples to help this.

    The following elements are needed to explore here.

    1. Raagas/Scales.
    2. Instruments (chords/notes)- acoustic & Bass Guitar,drums,violins etc.
    2. Composing a tune out of 7 notes.
    3. Harmony, melody.
    4. Counterpoints.
    5. Beats,rythms/Thalams,natai.
    6. Diffrerent kind of music forms/Genres.

    so peoples are welcome to analyse

    ராகம்
    கர்னாடிக் ராகம் என்பது சுவரங்களின் கூட்டமைப்பு. ஒரு ராகத்தைப் பாடும் போது, விருப்பம் போல சுவரங்களை அடுக்கிக் கொண்டே போகலாம்.சுவரம் என்பது "ச ரி க ம ப த நி" ஆகிய ஏழு மட்டுமல்ல, இதில் ச மற்றும் ப தவிர மற்றவை எல்லாம் இரண்டாம் நிலையிலும் வரும்.

    Raga
    Raga is nothing but combination of swaras. swaras are 12 ie,
    Sa Ri Ga Ma Pa Da Ni (swaram) and except Sa and Pa, others are double-acting members. With these 12 swaras, we can produce several combinations of swaras. that combinations are called "Melakartha raagams".
    From these Melakartha ragams one can produce/create millions of ragas. these are called as "Janya ragams".
