    Voice modulation/Change?

    Has anyone heard of this process where the 'voice' of a person can be changed /modulated into a new voice? I am not sure if there's an operation/surgery of the voice box involved.
    This is a blessing for women with hoarse voices & men with feminine voices.

    A friend of mine told me that his classmate who had a female' voice went in for voice modulation & now sounds like Amitabh Bachchan! That was in Chennai, many many years ago.

    I have heard of actor Kamalahasan who practiced and changed his voice for "KadalMeengal" film (father figure). After that his voice is still hoarse. It has'nt regained the old sweetness.
