    IDLI UPMA-

Break leftover idlis & break them into small bits- Heat oil in a saucepan- Temper, mustard, orad dal & red chillies/green (acc to ur taste) , cashews, raisins. Add the idli pieces-stir well & serve with sugar or just by itself- YUM!

Ladies, you can give me ur tastier versions of idli upma- this is how I make it

Have you heard about POHA made out of aval , mixed with potato, kothumeer, some lemon flavour ?

This is quite famous in Mumbai . Basically a Maharashtrian tiffin variety.

    Will be nice .

Its another Upma variety only !

dry roast the oatmeal (i use quakers) in a non stick pan.
the recipe is same as the normal upma...add 1 & 1/2 cups of water for 1 cup of oatmeal....

Do you use the quick cooking kind of oatmeal, or the old fashioned one?
