if u r looking for a diet for an adult, anything less thaan 1200kcal is not recommendable... 1200 is the minimum req... Pls chk the healthu lifestyle thread... U will be able to find some diet plans...

    Hi Ayesha,
There is something called the GI diet which is becoming very popular here. Its promoted by 'The Times Group'.
Actually i am not recommending the diet, but it has some tips that can be useful.
One of the tips that i found really useful was having a whole bran cereal with raisins for breakfast. The raisins are naturally sweet and release energy slowly and so you don't crave for something sweet or anything else before lunch. No sugar and good for health.

The other one is about cibatta bread and basmati rice. It seems Basmati rice releases energy slowly and you won’t get pangs after lunch or dinner.

One more thing which I often find difficult is finishing dinner before 7 in the evening.
