    hi frends,

here is my point of view

    choRu - cooked rice,

this could be justified from the proverb:
oru paanai ssotRukku oru ssoRu padham. ( to find whether a pot of rice has been cooked or not - a grain can show)

saadham - items mixed with ChaRu to form saucy/fluid nature (kuzhaivu) or food item made of choRu,

this could be justified from the menu items in the hotels, daily usage in home as saambaar saadham, rasam saadham, thayir saadham, lemon saadham.. etc

and obviously arisi is raw rice

    hope this helps

    frends...,

what are the exact meanings of tamil words with comparisons and suitable examples for the words

    1. kaLLam
    2. kabaDam
    3. vanjagam (think its not same as aemaatRu - cheat)

we have heard the old cine song stating

'kaLLam kabaDam vanjagam inRi gaNNiyamaaga otRumai uNarvuDan vaazhum singappore...'

for days i wondered what would be the exact interpretation of the words of the line in the song...

some would have heard the devotional (abiraamy andhaadhi?) stating

    'kabaDu vaaraadha naTpum'

    also gaNNiyam means nermai? honesty?

I think gaNNiyam means decency or some thing like that, not honesty.

Could Mala or others give me the tamil equivalent of the word 'Actually'?
"Why do we need filmmaking equipment?"
"Because, Marcel, my sweet, we're going to make a film. Just for the Nazis."
