Sorry for this post but i feel that celebrating the birthday of humans like it is a god's birthday is actually showing the arrogance of humans and the ignorance towards god...no matter how saintly a person and revered he is...we should only stick to god and pray to him only...praying to god through humans....preaching them as a second hand man to god only increases our ignorance of his existence..sorry for putting it here again..just had the urge to post this...

Well it isn't him- its the Art Of Living Members who decide on celebrating it-After all, AOL itself is a celebration of life!
And Guruji has never said he is God nor does his disciples treat him so. He is a "Guru"- A teacher & and the greeting " Jai Guru dev" only means salutaion to our inner light- the light of knowledge- not Jai to Sri Sri.
I don't how old u r- and the fact that I'm not shouting atyou is b'cause of the basic course I've done at AOL> Earlier, my temper used to be so bad. AOL has taught me to stay calm & take everything with a smile, if not a laugh.

Hulk,
have u not heard.
GURU is the guide to take you to god?
We are indebted in this world to too many.
Parents for giving us food, shelter, guidance, education etc to face world
Freinds/surroundings thro which we mature and learn practical things
and
FIRST AND FOREMOST GURU esp guru who takes u more towards your goal and help u in realising god.
Guru is the MOST IMP person in anyone's life esp a spiritual student.
Without guru ur vidhya is incomplete.
Most of us who are in spritual studies should know GOD IS AND IN EVERYONE AND EVERYWHERE. When a realised soul, is present within us, his godliness would be shone more than a normal person.
Ur post was too hasty hulk.
