There is a new variety of saree that is being introduced -> Silk Cotton
a mix with 60% Silk n 40% cotton !
a very good alternative to the heavy n difficult to maintain Pattu Saree !
The saree has a lot of advantages -> to name a few
-> light weight - gives u a lot of comfort
-> easy to maintain - permissible handwash - how easy know
-> Only first time Dry Wash - for double colors, just for safety
-> Variety - lots of colors n designs !

If it's silk, I love kashmir and mysore, the lighter versions. easy to tie, the pleats come out beautifully!
Otherwise, i prefer chiffon, georgette and cotton-silk anytime!
